WORLD AIDS DAY

Yesterday was World AIDS Day. I could not bring myself to post then, but here is an incredibly moving WAD video by a gentleman named Mark King. He also has a blog called My Fabulous Disease. In the video, he talks about the fact that so many who lived through those times have now moved on. Many do not wish to be reminded of those devastating days and the experiences that we endured that called upon us to be much more than we thought we could ever be. I had a partner die fifteen years ago, and to this day I know that taking care of him and standing witness to his incredible journey was by far the cleanest thing I have ever done.
